Headphones

I enjoy exploring different types of music. I have plenty of ol' reliables I return to, but the thrill of discovery has led me down a path of the various ways sound can be delivered to the ear holes.

Sennheiser HD 599

Where it all started. Open-backed, comfy as hell, and plays your music oh so sweetly. I've had these for several years, and they work just as good as the day I bought them.

Sony WH-1000XM4

Noise-cancelling headphones became essential. Not just for my commutes, but to drown out noisy neighbors who do their dishes at midnight.

That's right. I sleep with these babies every night.

Koss Porta Pro with YAXI Ear pads

I love the retro look of these headphones. In my research, I discovered that they have an impressive soundstage for the price. These are budget headphones, but they don't sound like it at all.

Pair them with some custom earpads for maximum comfort!

Apple AirPods Pro 2

My everyday carry. The noise cancelling is insane. My music sounds glorious and I often forget I'm wearing them. Battery life kind of sucks.

Hifiman Sundara

At the height of my audiophile craze, I saved up and splurged on these awesome cans. I cannot understate their bulk, however. Wearing them is a chore, I'll admit. The sound you get is exceptional. Pure bliss.

Linsoul 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 IEMs

I was recommended in-ear monitors for their neutral sound profile, high sound quality, and natural amount of noise cancellation.

This pair has the bass boosted slightly, because people complained about the last iteration sounding too flat. So they're more geared towards people who want a more "fun" music listening experience, rather than pure neutral audio.

CMF Buds 2a By Nothing

What can I say about these headphones? First, they're dirt cheap for what you get: Noise cancelling, bluetooth, decent sound and battery life. Don't you dare talk on the phone with these, though. You will upset whoever is listening. Pure crap in that department.

Nonetheless, I couldn't help myself from snagging these out of morbid curiosity and a cheap escape from the ol' walled-garden of Apple.
